When American troops started their final invasion of Nazi Germany in February 1945, U.S. Army cameramen were at their side. Over a thousand reels have been preserved; many of them untouched for decades. The cameramen covered many stories of victory and defeat, death and liberation. Faces of despair and joy, scenes of war and peace.
